What is necplus.org?

necplus.org is a Web-based subscription product offered by the National Fire Protection Association. It was developed in response to the ongoing need to forward and support the safe and practical use of the National Electrical Code® and to make electrical safety information more immediately and widely available. necplus.org is the most reliable online resource for NEC® and NFPA 70E® standards information and education. It provides a searchable online database of the latest available Codes, updated monthly with:

·   The latest relevant ROPs and ROCs

·   Links to related sections of the current UL White Book

·   PDFs of complex tables

·   Staff notes, illustrations, and detailed examples

·   Monthly feature articles giving in-depth and insightful information

·   Code Topic of the Month to keep you abreast of new requirements, industry trends, and best practices

 

 

How do I get necplus.org?

To subscribe, simply go to necplus.org/subscribe  to sign up for the service. You can also go to necplus.org/onedaypreview to register for a one-time only 1 day free preview which gives you access to explore the entire site.

 

 

How does it work?

Once you have subscribed to the service or opted for the 1 day free preview, you will receive an email confirmation with your login and password. Simply enter those on the login page and you will have access to the entire site, including both the NEC® and 70E®, all associated value-added content, and all the electrical articles and information on the home page.

 

   

Is necplus available for more than 1 user?


necplus does offer multi-user licenses. If there are multiple people in your organization who would like access to necplus, please contact Patrick Woomer at 1-617-984-7537 or pwoomer@nfpa.org to discuss your organization´s needs.

 

 

How quickly will I gain access once I have subscribed or signed up for a free 1 day preview?

When you subscribe, an email confirmation will be immediately sent to you with your login and password required to access necplus.org.

 

When you sign up for a free 1 day preview, an email confirmation will be sent immediately to you.  Your preview will begin once you login and will expire at midnight EST the following day.

 

 

I have already signed up to get necplus.org, but I can't access it. What should I do?

Contact customer service at 1 800 344-3555 or 1 617 770-3000 (outside the U.S. and Canada) Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm ET. 

 

 

Am I only able to subscribe online?

Yes, the only way to subscribe to necplus.org is through the Web.

 

 

Can I use a different payment method?

At this time, the only payment method for this service is by credit card.

 

 

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your subscription, contact customer service at 1 800 344-3555 or 1 617 770-3000 (outside the U.S. and Canada) Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm ET. When you hear the welcome recording, press 2.

 

 

How can I update my contact information?

If you would like to update your contact information you can go to My Profile at nfpa.org to make any necessary changes.

 

 

How can I update my credit card information?
