RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a way of having NFPA news and information delivered to your desktop, Web browser, or Web site. NFPA gathers the content you select from our list of RSS feeds and displays it for you in one convenient location.
To access NFPA’s RSS feeds
-
You will need a newsreader (also called a news aggregator). A number of free news readers are available for download; some aggregators are desktop programs; others are Web sites, such as Google RSS Reader, My Yahoo, or My AOL; still others let you add RSS feeds to your Web page. (You may want to conduct an internet search for “free RSS readers” to find a program that’s right for you).
-
Once you have selected a newsreader, look for this orange RSS graphic
on this page or elsewhere on the NFPA Web site.
- When you click on the
graphic, it will take you to a page on FeedBurner.com, which will offer you a variety of ways to subscribe to the feed you have chosen.
